What is Ambient Music...?

Ambient music is....not that difficult to describe. It's music that can be sparse and minimalist like, the Brian Eno album, Neroli or, dense and orchestrated like Mustt Mustt by Nusrat Fateh Ali Kahn. This music form is able to transport you to the place where the music exists, its context.

Often without using lyrics that convey specific meanings or by using strict musical forms, like Rock music, Ambient music is all about the experience of the music, rather than emulating your experiences as music.
